ADA Self-Evaluations & Transition Plans
We partner with experienced engineering and consulting firms to guide your city or university through the entire transition plan process, from defensible field data collection to a complete Transition Plan.
How We
Support Your ADA Transition Plan
DOJ-mandated ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plans require a complete self-evaluation of public services, including sidewalks, plus a prioritized, phased plan for accessibility improvements. We gather PROWAG-aligned right-of-way data and partner with trusted engineering firms to guide your team through the entire process.
We collect detailed, accurate sidewalk, curb ramp, and crosswalk data across your entire network.
Our engineering partners complete the other pieces of your self-evaluation and help prioritize data and phase improvements.
You walk away with a complete, defensible ADA self-evaluation and transition plan.

Our robots make short work of gathering detailed pathway data over large areas. We match that with partners who pair the extensive sidewalk and pathway condition data we collect with years of accessibility expertise to support our clients’ accessibility goals.
Plans
Full Public Right-of-Way Self-Evaluations
ADA Self-Evaluations are scored against the official Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG), and cover everything in your pedestrian paths including sidewalks, curb ramps, crosswalks, trails, and more.
We also offer tools for capital improvement planning, such as measurable 3D
models so that you can verify measurements even after collection.

PROWAG-
Aligned, Accurate & Auditable
Every Dax unit carries a purpose-built sensor stack that, unlike traditional methods, captures measurements in a
continuous flow. Instruments take measurements directly, avoiding occlusion and other errors mobile LiDAR can run into on sidewalk segments.
A suite of precision lasers identifies sidewalk cracks, uplifts, and surface defects.
RTK GPS Technology ensures reliable location data for every measurement.
Specialized lab-calibrated inclinometer captures cross- and running slopes.
Available with Premium+: To-scale measurable models of your sidewalk network, so compliance values can be verified directly from slab geometry.

What We Assess
Note: Sidewalks, curb ramps, and crosswalks are included with every Public Right-of-Way Assessment package. Signalized intersections, transit stops, stairways, loading zones, and on-street parking are included starting with our recommended Premium package.
Sidewalks:
Uplifts, slopes, vertical obstructions, access barriers, and other features that affect ADA compliance to PROWAG standards.
Curb Ramps:
Ramp slope, width, landing space, and detectable warnings.
Crosswalks:
Crosswalk slope, intersection and traffic control type, and whether markings are present.
Signalized Intersections:
Traffic control type and signal presence along the route.
Transit Stops:
Boarding and alighting areas, checked for correct depth and slope.
Stairways, Loading Zones & On-Street Parking:
Documented along the route to complete the full right-of-way picture.
Ready
for a complete, defensible plan
Once the data's in, our engineering and consulting partners help you turn it into a plan that holds up: for compliance, for pedestrians, and for your community.
See SolutionsDefensible by design:
Scored against PROWAG standards with consistent, documented methodology.
Phased and ready to budget:
Assets are grouped into repair phases, so the worst barriers are addressed first.
Built to hand off:
GIS-ready outputs that drop into the workflows engineering and consulting firms already use.
